My Home: Inspiration Nook

As my bedroom is also my workspace, having a place to display some inspiring images is really important. Luckily I had a redundant blank space of wall behind my desk just beneath my shelves that made a perfect litte inspiration nook. At the moment its a work in progress, but with some small clips coming I’ll be sure to post an update soon. For now, here’s my inspiration nook!4To the right of my desk, books that I need for current work and my Decor8 Blog Boss course materials are stored neatly so they are easy to hand.

The background inspiration board image is the inside of the cover of Decorate Workshop by Holly Becker. It was a lovely surprise and it’s inspiring to look at when I’m stuck for ideas.

The ‘washi tape’ postcard was a lovely little extra when I ordered my first package from Papermash. You can view my post on it here. I love the image on the card and thought the pastel colours worked really well with the inspiration board images.

‘What’s inside matters most’ is a lovely phrase and a pretty card! This card was free in the May 2013 issue of Ideal Home and I though’t I’d include it. The green striped washi tape is available from Papermash here.

The ‘I am blogging my way’ image was a free download from my Blog Boss ecourse. It was designed by Jeanette Lunde from By Fryd and I love the colours so much. I added pink striped washi tape, available here, to the sides to add something extra, as the black frame is a bit boring for me.

Do you have an inspiration nook? What do you display there? I’d love to hear from you!
